Freight Right for AI assistants¶

Connect your Freight Right account to Claude, ChatGPT or any other assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol — and ask about your freight in plain language. No API key: you sign in to Freight Right, approve what the assistant may do, and disconnect it whenever you like. Customers connect their own organizations; Freight Right administrators, once switched on, connect the whole platform.

Sign in and approve Your browser opens Freight Right. Sign in with your usual Shipment Manager login and read the one list of what the assistant will be able to do. Approve it.
Ask something Start a new chat and ask about a shipment, a price or a quote. Your assistant shows when it uses Freight Right.

Set up your assistant¶

Claude Web, desktop and mobile share one connector list. Two clicks and a sign-in.

ChatGPT Developer mode, OAuth — the same URL, the same sign-in.

Claude Code One command, then /mcp to authenticate.

Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Copilot, Grok, Muse Code Drop-in JSON, TOML and one-line commands for each of them.

Agent plugins One command installs the connector and the skills that go with it, in six clients.

Your live Freight Right account: real shipments, real prices, real bookings. This is the URL used throughout these pages, and the one the agent plugins ship.

Staging Live

For developers testing an integration. Sign in with a staging Shipment Manager account; everything there is test data, and a booking placed there reaches nobody.

What it will and will not do¶

It reads your account Shipments, quotes and live prices — the same things you see in Shipment Manager, for your own organizations.

It can ask us to quote A quote request goes to Freight Right's pricing team, if you approved that capability.

It cannot book anything An assistant only prepares a booking and hands you a link. It is sent when you click, signed in to Freight Right. How that works.

It never sees your password And Freight Right never sees your conversation. Security and data handling.
